BLACKJACK - live show band

“Blackjack” is Adelaide’s foremost show band presenting high end party tunes with visual flamboyance and a sound quality that no-one can deny.

The band is specifically tailored for corporate events and features high energy brass players and synchronised singers performing the best covers alongside two gorgeous dancers with costume changes and plenty of moves to get the crowd on the dance floor.

“Blackjack” is late night energy, style and high class action… outstanding live music to fuel any corporate event.

The band boasts leading, full time musicians performing live with Australia’s finest male and female voices Libby O’Donovan (“Flat on Your Bacharach”, “Women With Standards”) and Peter Noble (“Supernova”, “Men In Black”). The band also features the outstanding voices of Charmaine Jones (“Hepburn”, “Jellyhead”) and Sarah Lloyd (Australian Idol) who join the team on stage and take the energy later in the evening to a climax.

“Blackjack” is musically arranged by Mark Ferguson who is a musical director of note having worked with performers such as James Morrison, Doug Parkinson, Julie Anthony, Angelique Kidjo and the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra.

The combination is sizzling and unlike any live corporate band you have seen before.

Party Sets

The dance sets include the best party tunes incorporating classics such as "Blame it on the Boogie" and "Disco Inferno", 70's super hits by artists such as ABBA and The Village People and songs such as "I'm A Believer" and "Shake Your Groove Thing". These dance classics are entwined with more recent tunes by Kylie Minogue as well as Beyonce's "Crazy In Love", Christina Aguilera's "Aint No Other Man" and a mix of Latino style such as "Let's Get Loud" and "Livin La Vida Loca". BLACKJACK's party sets also incorporate two of Adelaide's best dancers choreographed and costumed to suit the party end of the evening.

Swing / Lounge Sets

Upbeat lounge and groovy swing tunes are featured in this set designed to start the evening during dinner or get everyone warmed up on the dance floor. The set includes cool, creative arrangements and subtle antics from the band. Total groove list of well known retro classics and swing hits arranged with style and an upbeat feel. Includes jazz classics like "Sway" and "Aint That A Kick in the Head" as well as groovy swing arrangements of Pink's "Get This Party Started" and "Tainted Love". The set also includes retro dance classics  such as "Viva Las Vegas", "Quando Quando", "Copacabana" and "The Girl from Ipanema".
