Biography

Rosanne Hosking was studying voice at the Elder Conservatorium in Adelaide when she accepted her first professional engagement with the Australian Cast of 'The Phantom of the Opera'.  Her theatre credits have since included the role of Beatrice in 'The Venetian Twins' at the Sydney Opera House, Dinah Murphy in 'South Pacific' (Festival Theatre, Adelaide) and Frieda in 'Sunday in the Park with George' (NIDA). 

She has also performed extensively as a concert artist; highlights have included 'Off the Air' with Guy Noble and performing Exsultate Jubilate with the Austral Sinfonietta in London.

Since returning to Adelaide, Rosanne has performed at the Adelaide Fringe Festival in 'The Late Show', at the Skycity Casino in 'Broadway Masters' and in the cabaret show 'Divas and Darlings'. Most recently she performed at the Festival Theatre in the SA State Opera production of 'A Masked Ball'. 

Rosanne performs regularly at corporate events and has also made guest appearances at the The Mount Barker JazzFest, The Heysen Festival and the Capri Theatre.  Over the past two years Rosanne has thoroughly enjoyed her involvement with the SA Music Theatre Camps as a vocal tutor and has also produced two highly successful productions of 'Variety for Variety - A concert with heart' as a fundraiser for the Variety Club of SA.
