Ding Productions is one of Australia’s leading producers of unique, creative, live entertainment. The company creates unforgettable performances and was announced as a finalist in the 2015 Australian Event Awards for 'Best Achievement in Entertainment'.
Led by Artistic Director, Jo Casson the company has produced more than 300 live performances in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Cairns, Canberra, Gold Coast, China and regional South Australia.
Jo Casson
Jo is a highly motivated, experienced Artistic Director who enjoys the creative process and working towards exceptional outcomes. Her passion for music theatre and experience working with professional artists, as well as those who are honing their craft, has led to an expertise in artistic direction integrated with skills development.
Jo has been the Artistic Director for The Festival of Music since 2018 and has directed Pulteney Grammar’s production of “Jesus Christ Superstar” and “Matilda” both winning the Theatre Association S.A. Award for Best Youth Musical. Her direction of “Mamma Mia” and “Legally Blonde” also received Best Youth Nominations.
She has created more than 20 full length shows including touring productions with Country Arts SA, shows with Rhonda Burchmore and Rachael Beck as well as jukebox musicals for schools.
Across the past 15 years Jo has also worked with other industry greats such as Alinta Chidzey, Rob Mills, Amy Lehpamer, Bobby Fox, Michael Falzon, Ian Stenlake and David Campbell.
